Credentials, health reports and pedigree proof.
We treat verifiability as a non-negotiable. Every claim on this site is backed by a document that we will send to any serious enquirer. This page summarises what is on file.

Veterinary Partnerships
We are not a self-supervised cattery. Three independent veterinary practices participate in the care of our cats and the placement of our kittens. Each partner has agreed to confirm our standing on request.
Pedigree Examples
A four-generation TICA pedigree accompanies every kitten. Sample pedigrees from our queens and studs are emailed to families before reservation so the line can be researched independently in the TICA database.

How buyers can independently verify our documents
How do I verify Aurelian Folds is a TICA registered cattery?+
Email membership@tica.org or call TICA's Harlingen, TX office (+1 956-428-8046) with our cattery name — Aurelian Folds — and ask them to confirm cattery registration status and member standing. TICA staff will confirm active catteries by phone or email at no cost. We will also send our current cattery registration certificate PDF and the TICA registry lookup link on request.
How do I verify the CFA (Cat Fanciers' Association) registration?+
Contact CFA Central Office at cfa@cfa.org or +1 330-680-4070 with the breeder's registered name and cattery. CFA verifies cattery registration for prospective buyers. Our CFA certificate is provided in the kitten application packet.
How do I verify the HCM, PKD, and orthopedic reports are real?+
Every report we send includes the issuing clinic's name, licensed veterinarian's signature, license number, date, and the cat's microchip ID. Call the clinic directly and give them the microchip number — they will confirm the report is on file. UC Davis VGL (PKD DNA) publishes results to a portal accessible via the sample's accession number, which we also share.
Can I call your veterinarians to confirm your standing?+
Yes. Cold Spring Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Helena Whitfield DACVS-SA, and Dr. Anthony Marchetti DACVIM (Cardiology) have each agreed to confirm our client relationship on request. We provide their office numbers to families who ask; please give them 24 hours to return calls.
How do I verify the pedigree in the TICA database?+
Every pedigree we send lists TICA registration numbers for at least the four preceding generations. TICA offers pedigree lookups to members and to buyers on request via the TICA Executive Office. We are happy to walk any serious enquirer through the lookup.
What paperwork will I actually receive with my kitten?+
TICA registration form (blue slip) transferred into your name, four-generation pedigree, signed sales and health-guarantee contract, microchip transfer, vaccination and deworming records, spay/neuter contract, feeding schedule, and copies of both parents' most recent HCM, PKD and orthopedic reports.
